Project Homeland acknowledges that confronting this challenge requires engaging in incredibly hard work with a long-term perspective in mind.

In essence, we seek to establish the groundwork for change that benefits all individuals within the community and ensures this change can be maintained over time.
This change is not abrupt or disruptive but rather occurs progressively and smoothly, ultimately leading to positive and significant improvements in the community's well-being or circumstances.
Projects are initiated and led by local community members themselves. To ensure the success and longevity of these initiatives, the community receive comprehensive support from locally-based Development Resource Centers (DRCs) and collaborating partners, covering all aspects of the projects from start to finish. The aim is to foster self-sufficiency and long-term sustainability within the community by equipping local members with the resources and guidance they need.
